Seller's Notes:We made this Island ourselves using Ikea kitchen units. The surface of the Island is wood that was drilled in from under. The wood is even on the side with cabinets and extends out on the opposite sides in order to provide room for seating. There is room for 4 chairs. It has 3 drawers with soft close and a cabinet area that has 6 shelves. It's perfect for a large kitchen. We wanted a piece that combined both a dinner table and an island where friends could hang out while we cooked. Everyone who sees it loves it and asks about it. We are only selling it because we are moving out of state. Since the top is drilled on, the assembled piece does not fit through our doorway. We can take the wood top off and take it downstairs (we have an elevator). We are also selling all of our chairs included in the price.
