Seller's Notes:I bought this piece of an Ikea Kivik sectional in order to create a reading nook in my old apartment. It turns out that I don't read as much as I had hoped. The piece was seldom used. The cushions are as described on the Ikea website--firm but comfortable. Placed with the ottoman, it makes a comfortable chaise for reading, watching TV, or napping. The chaise, which includes storage space, is also sturdy and comfortable and can be used for additional seating. I would happily keep it but I moved to a smaller apartment and need to use the space for books.
