Seller's Notes:This is an Ikea Fjell queen bed from the Fjell bedroom set. It includes a Lonset slatted bed base and the Skorva bed midbeam necessary for setup. The Fjell set is one of the more solid Ikea entries as it is mostly solid pine as opposed to fiberboard. The bottom of the four storage drawers are the only fiberboard. The piece is a black stain covered with a clear lacquer finish. I ordered this item alongside the rest of the set in February and March of 2015. It was picked up and delivered, then assembled, by a local furniture company I found on Yelp who specialize in Ikea items. They did a very good job with the setup and it has never been moved. The only blemish I could discover was a small scratch on the right side of the headboard, as pictured in one photo. I am now selling the item as I am not taking my furniture with me when I move across the country to San Francisco, it just didn't make sense for me. This item has been used only by me, and as stated is one year old. This item is still available as new from Ikea, and retails for $449 in select Ikea stores. The addition of the slatted bed base increases the retail value to $539. The four drawers can each hold up to 44 pounds and are 27 inches deep. The nice feature of the Lonset slats as opposed to the cheaper Luroy slats is that they are adjustable to change firmness. Thank you for looking!
