Seller's Notes:2 Bookcases Available - IKEA Birch Billy bookcase upgraded with a 1/4" plywood back that has been faux marble finished (wall paper and polyurethane sealed) and silver tone door knobs. Two full length glass doors protect items on bookcase. Glass doors are similar to current IKEA Oxberg. Main difference is that these doors have rounded sides. Inside mounted light illuminates the top half of bookcase making it lovely to display dishes or artwork. One adjustable glass shelf and three adjustable wood shelves. Four floor protective feet on bottom enable sliding bookcase into place without scratching floor. These bookcases were so well upgraded and assembled, they do not come apart. Main bookcase is 31 1/2" wide x 79 1/2" high x 12" deep with a height extension bringing the total height up to 93" high. Height extension can easy be taken off. Newly purchased components cost over $325 not including labor to create faux marbleized effect on back. Marbleized effect on back is tones of beige and brown with touches of gray. Some slight darkening of birch laminate from sunlight possibly showing where previous shelf was located. A few small holes in sides (approximately 3 each side) from screws securing this bookcase to others for stability. Possibly a couple screw holes in top to secure to wall with an "L" bracket for further stability. In current configuration (see pictures), everyone thinks these are built-ins. They look that great!
