Seller's Notes:This extendable dining table with 1 hidden extra leaf seats 4-6, allowing you to adjust the size of the table to fit your needs. We keep it sized for 4 on a daily basis, extending it to 6 when hosting company. The extra leaf is stored underneath on the bottom of the table, held in place by two locks that ensure there is no gap where the table separates into two pieces. SImply unlock and pull the sides apart. You will see the extra table leaf stored underneath, folded in half. It rotates easily to unfold and settle into place. Then simply push the sides back together, again locking underneath to prevent any gaps. There is some wear on one of the sides of the table, photographed below. The covers are removable, secured via velcro (see photo). While sturdy when just assembled and/or tightened, they tend to loosen quickly and start to rock. I purchased wood glue with the intention of gluing them in place once tightened, but never got around to it. So they still rock a little unless you take the time to tighten them. We are selling our furniture in preparation of a cross-country move. Ours is a smoke- and pet-free household. If you are interested in just the table and/or chairs, let me know.
