Seller's Notes:I have decided to upgrade to a queen sized bed - or else I would keep this very sturdy item! It has been a perfect fit over the years that I have had it. No box spring needed. The wooden slats are attached by ribbons (as all ikea slats are) and a couple of the ribbons are removed, but the slats still work perfectly despite this.
