Seller's Notes:Antique Wrought Iron (and Cast Iron) Bed Double/Queen the brand is IDEAL, (maker of the sought-after antique cast iron home radiator). In excellent condition. Well crafted and sturdy. Simple gorgeous design. I do not know the date the bed was made but from researching, I'm guessing most likely early 1900's. It was made by IDEAL, which was later combined with several other American iron companies. As you may know the earliest iron beds didn't come in Queen size, this headboard and rail complete set, is early, so it measures a double. It WILL, however, accommodate a queen size mattress.
