The case features a graceful bonnet pediment with olive ash burl overlay and carved shell crest, flanked by elegant reeded columns and a locking beveled glass door. The polished brass dial displays ornate corner spandrels and a moon-phase arch, complemented by a decorative brass pendulum and three polished brass weight shells. A mirrored interior back panel reflects the movement and pendulum, creating striking visual depth. Inside is a German Kieninger cable-driven movement, renowned for reliability and precision, playing the traditional Westminster chime on the quarter hour with hour strike. The cabinet includes interior illumination and an automatic nighttime chime shut-off option.
