I originally chose it because I loved the clean upholstered design and neutral beige color, but what truly won me over was the hydraulic lift storage underneath. The under-bed storage is surprisingly spacious and has been perfect for storing seasonal clothing, extra bedding, luggage, and other items that would otherwise take up valuable closet space—especially in a New York City apartment. The hydraulic lift mechanism makes accessing the storage easy and convenient. The bed has held up well over the years and still looks great. There are a few minor cosmetic imperfections, including some light stains that are barely noticeable, a small tear in the storage compartment fabric on the left side, and one broken socket for a wooden slat.
