Seller's Notes:The original architect owner said he bought it in late 1950s. The badge is original and in original position inside top. Original "boot" feet with swivel tips. This example is very attractive and structurally sound with signs of having been used and a reattachment at point where swag legs meet on one side. A screw head is visible on back side and a T nut on front which was ground and curved to be as small and unobtrusive as possible. There are general signs of use, mild scratches to laminate top. one 1/2" chip to laminate top edge, some scuffing to walnut on rear corners. Some wear/loss to colored paint, white and black edge paint. Absolutely original condition other than the reattachment which was reworked to make it less conspicuous. I really don't want to part with this desk but it doesn't fit in my new space. Would love for it to go to a good home.
