Seller's Notes:This vintage Herman Miller/George Nelson design table seats 6 comfortably in its closed position, but has two leaves that store in the table that expand its size by 20" each, to seat up to 12 in its fully open position. 4 upholstered chairs are included, but they are not Herman Miller products. Pewter balls were added to the bottom of the table legs to accommodate the chair arms but are easily removed. Top surface is white micarta which has a few small blemishes that are normal for its age (the table likely dates back to the 60's or very early 70's). Nothing a place mat or your place setting wouldn't cover completely.. Table legs are a rich dark wood (likely walnut or rosewood). Similar tables have sold for over $3000. This table was produced by HM with both the micarta top and a wood top but this is the only one I have found with the white top so it is rare. Owner is moving out of state and has no room for this item. May consider reasonable offers.
