Seller's Notes:This beautiful solid mahogany designer king sleigh bed was purchased new from a furniture store by me in Chicago. I enjoyed it for a number of years in my NYC apartment. It takes a standard king. The corner feet are carved black and the remainder is a shiny rich deep brown mahogany. Both the headboard and the footboard are graced with beautiful wood inlays (see attached pictures). The frame is 83" in length, 82" wide and the frame bottom sits about 8.5" off the floor but with your bed set on top, it would of course sit much higher based upon your choice bed set. The headboard rises 51.5" and the foot board rises 33.5". There are a few minor and hard to find dents and scratches but looks excellent to the eye. I have kept it in pristine condition over the years as I have loved it! I am now down sizing and willing to sell it for a fraction of its initial cost. I can contribute half of any necessary shipping cost by aptdeco. It is a solid, heavy, showpiece that is sure to be enjoyed many years to come!
