It was originally purchased through a Palm Springs interior designer in the mid-2000s and has all the craftsmanship you’d expect from Henredon — solid hardwood frame, rich leather patina, and a classic silhouette that works with both traditional and transitional interiors. What really sets this chair apart is the exposed wood cross-stretcher base, a design element consistent with Henredon’s high-end production for Ralph Lauren Home at the time. It’s elegant, sturdy, and heavy (you’ll need help moving it — in a good way). Whether you’re designing a cozy library corner, an upscale home office, or a luxe living room, this chair is built for generations. It’s just too big for my new apartment unfortunately!
