Seller's Notes:I purchased this sofa in July 2021 from Hem website, when I moved from Chicago to NYC, so this item got delivered to NYC apartment directly. I have always preferred simple design, and personally I never wore any bright color items. I first saw Hem through Alice Gao's Instagram and just fell in love with this sofa. I looked up and thought this 2-seater would fit my studio apartment in NYC. I debated on the colors for a bit and asked around friends, even though neuter colors might go a long way, I wanted a more vibrant item in my life and in my living room, so I picked the yellow, which turns out it's great choice - Energetic and not boring. An unfortunate event happened when I first got my little mini schnauzer puppy home in December 2021. He was still being potty trained and had been doing well to pee on the pads, but just that one night, one moment, he had left a tiny bit of pee on my brand new sofa that's in yellow. I had to clean it up - Little did I know or realize, the cleaning spray only darkened the color and enlarged circles of "stains" on the sofa (as shown in the pic). I was very frustrated and wanted to cry. But crying doesn't help. The next day after a night of sleep, I had to rethink of the ways I can still use the sofa, after all, it has no smell and it's a functional sofa, and I had just found myself the dream sofa... I then thought that if I just put a cover or sheet over the seats, the sofa would still look great, and that's what I did for the past 1.5 years. Now I'm selling this item not because it's in a bad condition or I no longer like it, it's because I am moving into a smaller apartment and it's furnished, so I have to sell it. I am not happy that I cannot keep it, but life is life, it has many unexpected things happening and we all need to adapt. I hope you find above info helpful and appreciate your time reading this.
