Seller's Notes:This very sturdy dining table and 2 benches is made from the wood of an old ship. The color and scratches are all part of the character of the wood, and that is how it was when we purchased it. This table has served us well for over a decade - allowing us to cram 10-11 people (though very tightly) for dinner and drinks. I think it could do with a varnish, or could be great with a glass top on top. The wood textured and a little rough in places, which makes it a challenge to keep clean - though I think we've done a good job of it. This table and bench set is very heavy - so I recommend having professionals move it, and not up many flights of stairs.
