Seller's Notes:Purchased new in Istanbul in 2002 at Mevlana Carpets & Kilims. Includes original Certificate of Guarantee. The rug is 36" x 45", wool on cotton, handmade in Hereke, Turkey using the Turkish double knotting system. Well maintained in a low-traffic, shoe-free, smoke-free, pet-free home. There is a small area of water staining along one part of the border - not noticeable unless very close (see picture).
