Seller's Notes:This Altar style dining table is a one of a kind piece of art that was made by The Cottage Table Company, in their workshop formerly located in the San Francisco design center area. It is made of African Vermillion, a beautiful hardwood that is at home in a modern or traditional decor. Inset French saber legs, beveled edge and rounded corners are just a few reasons this is a piece you cannot buy in a retail store. The top is 60" wide, with an additional 20" leaf included. It is perfectly sized for an apartment. Seats 8 easily and 10 with the leaf. The mechanism for the leaf is very well made and slides easily open and closed. See the photos with and without the leaf, included the underside of the table showing the mechanism. This is an amazing piece that truly enhances your room, but am moving out of state and must downsize. Very good condition, I cared for it using orange oil which the craftsman recommended. There are a couple of minor surface scratches from normal use. The scratches are not in the wood, only in the finish and would be able to be polished out. I couldn't get them to show up well in the photos, but there are some closeups. Most people would not notice them, but full disclosure and all...feel free to contact me with questions.
