Seller's Notes:We had this table designed by a furniture maker to fit our apartment 15 years ago. We wanted something rounder and more communal but a fully round table that seats 10 takes up too much space. The designer came up with a shape that squared off at the ends but rounder in the middle allowing for easier conversation with big groups. The cherry wood design was treated to withstand hot objects without leaving a mark but that was 15 years ago and that is starting to wear off a bit. Table seats up to 10 and includes 8 chairs. The 8 matching chairs are impeccably designed and were re-upholstered by a leather sepecialist 1 year ago. Table measures 102" long x54" wide and 35" high.
