Seller's Notes:I purchased this bed about 25 years ago from EA Clore Sons, a small manufacturer of hand-crafted furniture in Virginia. The founder of the company sold a dining table to my great-grandfather more than a century ago; it is still in the family, as are pieces bought in every generation since then. The bed is solid walnut and exceptionally sturdy. There are a few minor abrasions and nicks. I tried to photograph them, but they are hard to see even in the photos. A few minutes with some dark wood stain would make them essentially invisible.
