I take great care of my home and the sofa has been vacuumed 2x a month for the 3 years that I have had it. I am moving to the West coast. I have a small poodle who sits on a doggy bed on the sofa but he doesn't shed. There are no holes or blemishes and the foam is all in great shape. The frame and legs are brushed nickel. The piece can be either a left or right hand sectional or separated to be 2 pieces. Its a great piece- in Urban Tweed Ink which is a dark grey with slightly blue hue.
