Seller's Notes: Victorian Parlor Chair – Downton Abbey Grace This antique hand-carved Victorian parlor chair brings compact beauty with soft Downton Abbey grace. Featuring delicately curved arms, scrolled legs, and a light sage diamond-upholstered seat and back, it’s ideal for a reading nook, entryway, or as a decorative accent with history and heart. Very comfortable. Believed to be apx 100 years old, this piece was passed down from my great-grandmother, who im migrated from Ireland in her 20’s, worked as a maid for a family in New England and inherited them up on their passing. The fabric was reupholstered at some point in the past and is still in attractive shape. The chair itself is low-sitting, sturdy, and very comfortable. Minor scuffs and wear on the carved wooden arms and legs reflect its authentic age and use — nothing out of step with a true antique. ⸻
