Seller's Notes:I bought this unit when my son was 10. It saved space and had awesome storage space for all the toys and clothes. When he turned 15, we took the bed down because he wanted to feel grown up. So you can separate the bed from the dresser and the desk for a different set up. You can turn the desk and dresser in any direction. You can also add a second bed below. It was built to hold a second bed but we only needed the one
