The material - this company uses wood -effect foiled particleboard and Fiberboard. which is very durable and easy to clean. This furniture is made in France. This desk has a hidden desk which can be pulled out should you need more work space. the wheel that is supporting this desk also has a break lock to keep it in place when you are working ans be can easily pushed back under the desk when no longer needed. The surface of this desk has been covered with acrylic from the moment of use, so there is no surface damage and is like new. The leg of the second hidden table has a few scratches which are very light. The pull out section is about 3ft 5" long.
