Seller's Notes:I purchased this planter from Gainey Ceramics, based in La Verne, California five years ago. I can not find right space for it in my new apartment and decide to sell instead of keep it in the closet. Gainey Ceramics was considered as one of the best American architectural pottery makers, along with Heath Ceramics, Bauer Pottery and Vessel USA. Gainey suspended its ceramics manufacturing in 2013, which made their existing products more valuable. Similar planters are priced at over $600 or more each on 1stbid.
