Seller's Notes:Large sleek French Art Deco Armoire, a one of a kind artisan crafted piece with a beautifully rich burled walnut veneer. A fine example of the French sensibility to the Art Deco style, where a desire for function went hand in hand with understatement, refinement and elegance. This armoire has the graceful proportions and restrained, harmonious ornament of the classic French style. Three tall cabinets with adjustable shelves. The center cabinet has a beautiful beveled mirror (excellent condition) and two drawers below. Original door key included. Purchased 30 years ago at Best of France Antiques in Buck County, PA. Condition: overall good considering age but a few things to note. The top of the right cabinet door has some water marks. The bottom of the right side has some dents (hit by a metal object). One drawer has a chip in the burl Vermeer finish , approx 1/4” square. The top of the drawer shelf, below the mirror, has some water stains. The back panels have two openings, I believe made for electrical wiring, not sure. The opening on the center cabinet back panel measures 5” x 8” , and the small opening on the right cabinet back panel measures 1” x 2”.
