Seller's Notes:Free-standing Wooden Loft. Custom built from reclaimed and new lumber, this highly stable loft is free-standing - does not need to be fastened to the floor, walls or ceiling. Ideal for studio apartments. Perfect for increasing space in a single bedroom. It is exceptionally sturdy, but through innovated use of design and materials it makes great use of space. The loft surface area is 82 inches long and 63 inches wide -- big enough to accommodate a queen size m--s/futon, or a full or twin size m--s/futon and a night stand, small bookshelf, etc. The space below the loft is 72 inches (6 feet) high. I am an experience carpenter, furniture maker and woodworker. It is made from reclaimed and new lumber. This model, I made about 4 years ago. The customer has moved away from Brooklyn and offered it back to me, and now it is available. It is currently disassembled & stored in Windsor Terrace, Brooklyn. I will assemble it for you for an additional $60 (limited to parts of Manhattan, Queens & Brooklyn). You will have to provide for moving/delivery, which will require a van or small truck. It is designed to go against a wall. As such, one side of the loft does not have a fence. For an additional price, I can make a fence for the forth side.
