Framed Gold Indian Pata Painting Print
Product details
Seller's Notes:Finely-detailed large reproduction (made to look like cloth) of a Jain pata (Indian painting on cloth), a "map” of pilgrims climbing the holy mountain Satrunjaya. 3” gold frame. Original is c. 1800, from Gujarat or Rajasthan, ink and watercolor and gold. And it is also over 100" in height! I wanted to capture the scale of the piece. This is One-of-a-kind. Perfect for a large wall: a guaranteed show-stopper. The detail may seem a bit much on these small photographs, but it is not, and exquisitely rendered. I am moving, not too much wall space.
