Family Heirloom Antique Hutch Circa 1920
Product details
Seller's Notes:Family heirloom antique hutch, built circa 1920 by The Elquin A Simonds Company Furniture, a furniture designer originally affiliated with Stickley. This piece is full of ornamental flourishes including inlaid vines in relief, pedestal legs, and door decorated with arched woodwork and handprinted scenes of sensuous old world farm hands standing with vessels placed upon their heads. This unique, one-of-a-kind piece was in my family in Ohio since the 1960s, and I am forced to part with it since we don’t have space for it in our Manhattan apartment. The piece shows some wear and would benefit from some refurbishment.
