Seller's Notes:Purchased brand new in 2006 from Ethan Allen. This piece is absolutely stunning in person. Craftsmanship and wood work is top notch as you can see. The wood is a dark cherry color and in excellent condition. No furniture polish has ever been used, just a dry cloth. This piece has two dome lights in the top of each glass door cabinet which are controlled by two round knobs for like light intensity. This is a video lift cabinet which can contain a 55 inch television. The television can recess completely into the unit when you're not watching it. You don't have to use the television with this unit. A remote control panel with buttons in the unit raise and lower the television as needed. The buttons are a little sticky and need to be pressed a few times to activate but they work perfectly. The unit is six separate pieces that are connected together through metal bracing. The two upper cabinets also have areas for speakers if you so desire. They are also to pull out drawers in the lower cabinets and two 3 shelf areas to put entertainment pieces which can be adjusted for multiple heights. We anlso have the glass door inserts that fit into the bottom front cabinets doors if you would like to see the components in the cabinet. The top cabinets have lights in them and looks beautiful at night. Please see picture. Any discoloration on the middle bottom of the unit in the first photos are from light coming through the window. There is no discoloration anywhere. The overall length is 9.4 feet. The overall height is 7.3 feet. The overall depth is 2 feet. The piece is absolutely stunning and we've always gotten compliments when people see it. We paid $7,500 for the unit with tax. Ethan Allen no longer makes beautiful units like this so this is a rare find. We have the original receipt. Please feel free to email me with any questions. I will do my best to help.
