Seller's Notes:This traditional and elegant nine drawer dresser with matching medallion mirror from ETHAN Allen has been with me for 30 years. The color is Biediermeier, and It’s still as beautiful today as it was then. The remarkable thing about ETHAN Allen is how well this piece of furniture is made and how many decades more I know it will last with no worry of it falling apart or looking old. Traditional and forever in style. One of the most solid piece of furniture I own. Now that my children are leaving the house my husband and I are downsizing. This means my 11 pieces I have in my room need to be rehomed. The Ethan Allen medallion Beidermeier chest of drawers is a classic example of early 19th-century American furniture, reflecting the elegance and craftsmanship of the Biedermeier style. Crafted from high-quality hardwood/cherry wood the feminine chest boasts a rich, warm finish. The chest is equipped with brass hardware-including drawer pulls and decorative escutcheons-that complements the overall aesthetic and enhances durability. There are nicks and marks shown in photos. There is some color fading on the left corner. Nicks, mostly from vacuum, are on the very bottom. There is a circle from a candle | let burn on my dresser without putting something underneath. Someone with knowledge on restoration I'm certain can make this go away. I just put something over it. 🙂 This is a piece for furniture built to last a life time. All drawers and hardware operate perfectly. Clean piece of furniture overall.
