Ethan Allen Locking Bar Cabinet
Product details
Seller's Notes:The style of this Ethan Allen cabinet #10-9040 dates to the 18th century when it was used to protect wine and whiskey from theft and became extremely popular during Prohibition. Cabinet comes with a set of 6 shot glasses and 12 drink glasses in two different sizes. This vintage 1981 cabinet is solid maple with a perfectly matched laminate top for worry-free bar/buffet serving. All sides, including the back, are finished. The cabinet has drop leaves supported by extendable wood pulls underneath. With the leaves down, it measures 33 3/8" high, 29 5/8" wide and 17" deep. With the leaves extended, the top measures 53 3/8" wide. Inside there is one fixed shelf set back slightly to allow for closure of the doors that have storage racks for the glasses. The left door latches inside at the top. The right door is locking and comes with 2 keys (1 spare). The bottom of the cabinet has a scalloped edge with bracket feet that hide rolling casters, making this an easily movable furniture piece. This is a rare vintage find in excellent condition.
