Seller's Notes:Beautiful Ethan Allen British Classics Marshall Drop Leaf Desk Made in USA of solid wood. This was purchased new by my relatives and has resided in one location since then. This statement piece features a reddish brown and distressed finish (possibly mahogany or cherry wood?). The knobs are recessed with brass trim. The top and side that you face when sitting has marks and and knicks of minor wear from use. One photo shows a part of the left edge of the drop leaf that has a blemish in the wood from liquid as well as some discoloration spots in that area. Please zoom in on photos to see details. (Note: I think the discolored spots can probably be fixed with the correct product, I'm not sure how myself). Desk still functions perfectly. The part of the desk that faces out is in excellent condition. You will see that there are also many little marks in the wood- most of those are part of the Ethan Allen's natural and intentional distressing that came with the furniture while there are certainly marks from use. Four drawers total. One large drawer with lock and keys on left equipped for hanging files. Middle drawer with wood pen tray. Right hand side has two drawers. Carved fan motif on the back of the desk that continues on the tapered legs. Both sides have a drop leaf extension. Measurements with leaves down: 60.25" length x 29.5" depth x 30" height.
