This is a beautiful vintage wall ART lithograph by Russian-born French artist and designer Romain de Tirtoff [better known by the pseudonym Erté]. The HUGE Art work features a handmade Italian Cassetta frame panel complemented by exquisite floral Sgraffito ornaments on each corner, depicting a french redhead showgirl of the FOLIES BERGERE! Quite original vintage french advertising Art and a bold decoration statement that will pass on for generations. The poster itself is made of what I believe to be a thick layer of matte Plexi. The coating has a matte touch and finish to it, reflecting the 1980 era with a sophisticated touch. Check their website. There is a superficial scratch as indicated in one of my pictures. Only visible from a certain angle and under a direct spotlight. It doesn't bother me I find it adds to the age and character of the piece. REASON FOR SELLING: Frame is too large for my decoration setup.
