Seller's Notes:Rugged, untamed beauty is the only way to describe this work of art. This is an exquisitely beautiful, QUEEN sized bed that is made of the highest quality reclaimed Brazillian peroba wood. Each of the wood beams (x4) are heavy, distressed wood that has the natural grooves and grains. Headboard is mahogany. Although the bed frames are heavy and wide, once assembled it has a look of lightness, suspension and it feels like it is floating in a tropical jungle. This is far better quality than anything you can purchase from Room and Board/West Elm/Crate and Barrel/Restoration Hardware. It will last you a life-time and you can pass it down as a family heirloom. They only reason I am selling is that I now have 2 kids and getting a King. Although it is for a Queen sized bed, the wood is wide on all four directions and you need to plan for more room (see pictures). Headboard height: 34" Footboard height: 11" Length: 100.5' Width: 81" Floor clearance: 5 1/2" Originally purchased (2014) from Environment Furniture for ($3500 + tax + delivery = $4000). It is in excellent quality and currently disassembled. There are some areas where it will look like the wood is scratched, but this is not damage, but rather the natural state of this wood and is a sign of its maturity and age. It is relatively easy to assemble but it is HEAVY and will require professionals to deliver to you (I will cover this cost).
