Seller's Notes:Handcrafted from salvaged and reclaimed Brazilian Peroba Rosa wood (often up to 100+ years old), this specialty designed bed is a striking mid-century modern piece inspired by a "flying carpet" effect. It is characterized by its wide, extra-deep floating frame and distinct low-profile design. The frame is built with mahogany accents (frequently ebony-stained for contrast) resting on a recessed plinth base that creates the appearance that the bed is floating.
