Seller's Notes:Shaped in the arbelette form, the rectangular walnut top conforms to the serpentine outline of the body. Three long drawers are arranged above a shaped frieze, the sides paneled for refinement. The whole is raised on short cabriole legs, a hallmark of the Louis XV period. Elegant proportions and warm walnut patina highlight the commode’s early Rococo character.
