Desk is stacked on top of matching medium oak wood cabinet (containing storage of one drawer and a storage area and one stationary shelf with doors); Braces to anchor desk unit to cabinet included. Desk surface is 31 3/4 inches from floor and can be used with an adjustable-height chair (not included). This unit is a space-saving design. All in one it has a desk working/writing area measuring 29 3/4" wide x 18" deep and a 29 1/2" wide x 17"deep area for storing lap top, files, books, papers, etc. When the drop lid working area is closed everything is out of sight. Having a built in light also preserves space for work, eliminating the need for a desk lamp with wires. The compact design is both functional and attractive.
