Seller's Notes:One Of A Kind Electric Powered, Hydraulic Adjustable Table c.1985-86 from DIA (DESIGN INSTITUTE OF AMERICA) I have researched and have not found this kind of item anywhere. Great multifunctionable table for any sized home or apartment, dining, cocktail, computer desk, children's play station...etc. Goes from cocktail table height of 17 inches to dining table height of 29 inches and any height in between. Hide cord under base when desired height is met. Marble is completely smooth and polished. Depth from edge of travertine top to face of upper base is 11-1/2 inches. Adjustable hard wood base is tightly covered in Black Faux-leather. Normal ware is not noticeable. Has a thick light beige Travertine 40 inch square table top w/rounded corners. A professional repair in one corner blends into the Natural striations of the travertine marble, however, you may use any top you choose, the travertine is not attached, its weight is such that it only needs to lay on the top of the base. Push button operation on top of table base under marble top. You can see white button in (cocktail table) photo. Normal ware on the faux leather base is unnoticeable.
