Seller's Notes:Selling my Design Within Reach Jens Risom console. This is a total classic and looks amazing in person. It’s got that cool "floating" top look and the woodwork on the drawers (the finger joints) is really high quality. Also super versatile. I’ve used it as a slim desk for my laptop, but it also works perfectly as an entryway table since it’s not too deep. It's solid white oak, so it’s sturdy and has a beautiful, light wood grain that goes with everything. Excellent condition and well-cared for.

Jens Risom was a minimalist by design, and his Console Table (1970) reflects his approach. To make the piece visually light, he opted for an open sleigh base and recessed top rail, which creates the appearance of the surface floating above the frame. Two drawers add storage yet preserve the spare profile. The table is compact enough for an entryway or may serve as a small desk in a living room. Part of the Jens Risom Collection. Made in Estonia.
