Seller's Notes:With a splayed-leg base that maximizes user legroom, the beautifully crafted Cross Extension Table can be short (78 3/4 inches), long (118.25 inches) or somewhere in between (98.5 inches). A sliding steel mechanism makes the changes easy, with two additional leaves stored below the tabletop in a felt-lined compartment. Pull one end of the table, and the top smoothly expands. This table seats 6 comfortably, and can seat up to 12 with both leaves. It has a walnut veneer, stained black, over a particleboard top and a solid walnut frame. There are some small nicks, easily corrected, and the leaf connections are no longer perfectly snug.
