Seller's Notes:This classic Design Within Reach Arco lamp is a treasure and a delight. My current living space is not conducive to its height, so I have it stored and am letting go. No blemishes, like new.
Inspired by a streetlight, brothers Achille and Pier Castiglioni created the Arco Floor Lamp (1962), which provides overhead lighting without requiring ceiling suspension. It features a polished shade on a swiveling arm for precise lighting control. Arco became an icon when it appeared with Sean Connery in Diamonds Are Forever. It resides in the permanent collection of MoMA. This is the authentic Arco Lamp produced by Flos. Bulb (Bulb not included / Sold Separately): incandescent 100W/A21SB/E26. Made in Italy.
