Seller's Notes:Deco-style chair for vanity or dressing table with three legs. Seat is low -- about 15 inches. Rounded seat back is walnut veneer -- with some cracking. Rest of wood is black lacquer, with some chips and scratches. We reupholstered the seat about 20 years ago in turquoise or light aqua velveteen fabric. This chair was purchased solo -- with no matching table -- in Los Angeles in the 1990s. Based on the style, we estimate that it is from the 1930s or 1940s, but we don't know. See the detail of the underside of the wide back leg to see how it was constructed from solid wood into a slight curve. It's a fun piece, but we are moving and won't have room for it in the new place!
