Seller's Notes:I love this futon set, but no longer have the space for it. The Mission style frame is about 25 years old, purchased from Bedworks in Cambridge, MA. I believe the wood is cherry or cherry stain. It's in great structural condition, with expected cosmetic flaws from long-term use. These are shown in the photos (I didn’t try to use wood scratch cover, but you can). To convert the frame from sofa to bed, just pull out dowels on each side to let it lay flat. The frame is straightforward to assemble and disassemble for moving; the instructions will be included with your purchase. My original price paid for the frame was several hundred dollars. The mattress was purchased in May 2023. It has a handsome, high quality faux leather exterior that looks and feels the same now as it did then. It is specially hinged to fit a futon frame, which is a really cool feature. The mattress is quite firm. You can add a mattress topper to make it softer for sleeping. My original price paid for the mattress was $295. The frame measures approx. 81” (W) x 45” (D) x 40” (H). The full-size mattress measures ‎74 x 54 x 8 inches and weighs 55 pounds.
