Seller's Notes:Rare Cushman Colonial Creations Chair (4/24A). This beautifully carved yellow birch chair is in excellent condition with original patina. As customary for the time period, this chair is for the head of the table and features arm rests. Dimensions are 19.75W, 15.75D, 33.5H. Original tags. In 1933, the H.T. Cushman Company introduced Cushman Colonial Creations, a new line of colonial style furniture designed by Herman DeVries to appeal to modern tastes. It featured rounded edges and a reddish maple color and proved to be very popular and was the company's trademark line for three decades. Selling due to moving out of the country.
