Seller's Notes:These chairs were handmade from sustainably sourced maple by a collective in North Carolina of rural-based, family-owned workshops that collaborated on the manufacture of this update on the classic American Windsor dining chair. They are heirloom quality. Each workshop contributed their own expertise toward the making of the Marlow chair: turning the slender spindles, carving the molded saddle seat, steam bending its gently curved back and assembling its final form. Traditional in spirit, Marlow streamlines and re-scales the look in durable maple. Extremely solid and durable yet lightweight, the chair is finished with catalyzed lacquer. The Marlow II Dining Chair is a Crate and Barrel exclusive. Normal order time: 4-6 months. We love these chairs, but have to sell as we are downsizing.
