Seller's Notes:This leaning media storage/shelving unit is actually three units that interlock together. While they should lean against the wall, we have never screwed them into the wall in the three apts we have lived in our nine years. The TV stand portion can accommodate screens up to 43 inches wide. Our current tv (shown) is 40 inches wide. The drawers are graduated, with the lowest shelves being the deepest at 15 inches and the top shelves the narrowest at 6.5 inches. This keeps the stand stable and helps keep the media stand's visual footprint seem "lighter" - it doesn't hulk over you. The wood is a deep reddish chocolate brown; depending on the light, it can go from looking reddish to black. The cabinet has ample storage for a cable set top box, internet router, and video game system. It has holes for wires, etc. The wood has gotten some scratches on the shelves over the years, but there are no dents; the scratches are only visible if you're looking straight at them from above (e.g. While dusting). They are easily hidden with books and photo frames and the like.
