Seller's Notes:I fell in love with my apartment for it's moldings and retro gold bathroom, not it's size. With the intention to maximize the floor space during the day, I decided to purchase a fold in bed. I had a difficult time finding a couch bed that was both comfortable, and attractive. Since I would be spending at least 4 nights a week for the year on the bed I leaned on the side of comfort and settled on a couch from crate & barrel. While the design is nice, it doesn't necessarily fit my style, and after a 3 month hiatus from the city, and from pulling out a bed every night, I decided to save myself the trouble and get a day bed for my apartment in Brooklyn. The couch was bought in August of last year, and is in excellent condition. I kept covers on both the interior and exterior cushions most of the time and spent considerable time away from the city, leaving the bed and my apartment untouched for months at a time. As far as I know there is no damage to the couch aside from a few minor scratches on the legs, probably from being accidentally hit by the vacuum. I do have a cat and a dog both are fully grown and neither of which have ever had an accident indoors. They are allowed to sit on the couch but generally there is a cover separating them from bare surfaces. Aside from burning sage in my room, the couch has not been exposed to any smoke. The sleeper sofa was purchased new from Crate & Barrel for $3,339.
