Seller's Notes:We bought this "Abridged Low Loft bed" in white a year ago from Land Of Nod, which is now called Crate & Barrel kids. Our child has loved having a playspace under the bed! However, we need to switch our children's rooms and the furniture from the other room won't fit in the bedroom where this bunk is, so have to leave that where it is and sell this (our other child can't sleep in the upper bunk.) We chose it because it has the smallest footprint of any loft bed we looked at, because it is a "LOW" loft bed (I can lean over and reach him easily, and the bedding is easy to change b/c the bed is not so high up, and we felt it was safer that it was lower.) They also used non-toxic, low VOC materials. We also thought at some point we would buy the add-on bed that can go underneath (you can buy a twin or full bed and add it under this) and make it into true "bunk beds" and put both kids in one room, but now that is not the plan any longer. The Abridged collection also offers other furniture pieces to match, e.g. a dresser. The original price of the bed we have is $1200 plus tax (a little over $1300 all in.) We are asking $975 (which is 25% off) as this site also takes about a cut off that.
