Seller's Notes:Our Karnes Twin Sleeper began its life with us in Tribeca before making the move to Park Slope. We purchased it new from Crate & Barrel and it has seen relatively light use in our smoke-free/pet-free home. When unfolded, the 3" foam mattress is 39" wide, 76" long, and surprisingly comfortable (I'm 6'3" and have happily slept on it many nights while on baby duty). The construction overall is very sturdy, which means it's also *heavy* so we definitely recommend using professional movers. The legs can be unscrewed to help it move through tighter spaces. Overall the piece is in excellent condition except for a slightly darkened patch toward the right of the seat cushion, which is more or less visible depending on the lighting. Otherwise, there's some wear on the side of the mattress where it comes into contact with the interior folding mechanism, but this is only visible when the mattress is unfolded and the bed not yet made up. The folding mechanism remains in like-new condition, so opening and closing the mattress is a piece of cake.
