A great deal and value as Crate and Barrel sells a new one of these for $1,099.00. It is in perfect condition mechanically though the slipcover has marks and stains, but since it is a slipcover, it can be taken out and washed or tainted separately. Furthermore, the slipcover can also be changed completely. Crate and Barrel sells them separately also. Some of the marks are shown in the pictures from normal wear. We bought this armchair a few years ago as support for our children's room - it is absolutely great during story time. It is so comfortable however that we moved it to the living room. We are now moving apartments and are obliged to rearrange our furniture.
